Tip of the Week

When baking breads in a bread machine, make sure to remove them from the baking pan as soon as they are finished to maintain a crisp crust.

1 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
3 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk
1 cup cheddar cheese -- shredded
1/4 cup red onions -- minced
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

1. Measure ingredients into baking pan.

2. Insert baking pan securely into baking unit, close lid.

3. Select appropriate bread setting:"fruit bread" or "sweet bread"

4. Push Start.

5. You know the rest...try to wait until cool before slicing.
