Poppy Seed Dressing

Make this slightly sweet dressing and keep it on hand in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. If you wish, you can substitute fresh lemon juice for the vinegar for a citrus flavored dressing. Poppy Seed Dressing 1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon salt 2 teaspoons dry mustard 2 tablespoons grated onion 2/3 cup vinegar 2 cups olive oil 3 tablespoons poppy seeds Mix sugar, salt, dry mustard, onion, and vinegar. Add oil gradually, and continue beating until thick. Stir in poppy seeds.
