Tip of the Week

With the colder days, longer nights, and holidays approaching, you`ll find that this is a recipe you pull out again and again.

Use a good sweet onion and feel free to try various different types of cheese depending on your personal taste.
Sharp Cheddar and Monterey Jack are two of my favorite choices.

This Baked Onion Dip goes together fast and easy, but is definitely DELICIOUS!

Baked Onion Dip

4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup chopped sweet onion
1 Tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease a 1 quart baking dish.

In a medium bowl mix cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and sweet onion. Pour into greased dish; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until the onions are tender
and the mixture is bubbling hot.

Serve with chunks of bread, or pita chips.
